We are busy growing several hundred plants, preparing for the gardening season. All of our vegetable and herb plants are organically grown, non-gmo, and are mostly heirloom varieties. This was super important to us, as a family, and so we felt like we needed to do the same for our customers. Most greenhouses use lots of chemicals, growth regulators and all sorts of unnatural things on their plants. We wanted to offer people an alternative.
Our seeds come from seed banks and from seed shares. We try to get unique varieties, and those with the most vitamins and antioxidants. Purple vegetables and fruits are the best. The darker the better. The thing that causes the purple coloring provides the most antioxidants.
This season we will be offering gooseberry, black currant, blueberry, white currant and elderberry bushes. We will have strawberries and a very limited number of pine berry plants.
